Norman island beach is world famous
A Norman island BVI beach has wonderful sunsets, sand, rocks and water, sea winds, beach volleyball, music and the occasional boardwalk loaded with amusements.
If you're interested in seclusion, however, keep in mind that many of the more crowded Norman island BVI beaches are popular for good reason. If you're looking for an active, social atmosphere with plenty of convenient services, try one Norman island BVI beach that is larger.
For those interested in pursuing specific activities learning more about the character of each beach can prove invaluable and our partner sites can provide you with useful information on each Norman island BVI beach. |

Norman island beach - where dreams become true vacations
The inspiration for Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island - adventure can still be found on Norman Island, but of a different kind… The Bight offers one of the most protected harbours in the region and is a popular anchorage for yachters for this reason. At the Eastern entrance of The Bight is a small cove that offers excellent snorkeling. British Virgin Islands beaches have been voted the "best beaches" by Caribbean Travel and Life Magazine. Check with Pirates Bight Restaurant about the ferry schedule to the Bight from their dock at Hanna Bay, Tortola (other side of harbour entrance, opposite Peglegs Landing Restaurant at Nanny Cay). The William Thornton (Willi T) Floating Restaurant in the Bight is only reachable by private boat at the moment.
