Norman island dining make people remember this
Uninhabited Norman Island is home to exceptional snorkeling opportunities at The Caves and The Indians. Yachters and sailors alike find refuge in what many consider the most protected harbors in the Caribbean. Disembark or swim ashore and sample the food, drinks, and lively environment at The Willy T floating restaurant and bar or the Pirates Beach Bar and Grill on the Bight-area shoreline. Pirate's Bight is located on the beach at The Bight on Norman Island. It offers a wide selection of local and international dishes for lunch and dinner - and has a lively bar where you can order a cold beer or a Caribbean cocktail. There is also a great little gift shop on site selling t-shirts, film, disposable cameras, hats, caps, koozies, beer glasses, and Pirate wear...plus lots of other great gifts. Located on shore just a few hundred yards away from the ship, Billy Bones Beach Bar and Restaurant has an equally fun atmosphere. Their blended cocktails are not to be missed, as are Carol’s famous BBQ ribs. A volleyball game on the court behind the restaurant, or a hike up the hill trail to enjoy a spectacular view will allow you to work up a sweat and truly earn your sundowner margarita! The William Thornton or Willy T is a permanently anchored boat that serves food and plenty of alcohol to boaters cruising the British Virgin Islands. . Music screams from here all hours of the night while wild partiers walk the plank. It is tradition while at Willy T's to "walk the plank" meaning jump off this wimpy plank on the top deck. For those with more discriminating palates, very fine restaurants can be found on most of the larger islands. Some allow more casual attire (no beach wear); others may require dressing up, so if this is your bag you should bring appropriate clothing for the nicer restaurants. Remember this is the BRITISH Virgin Islands, they know how to go formal in the Old World style.
